Disana leggings?

I want to buy DS another pair of wool longies/pants. He has a pair of aristocrats longies and I love them but they are very thick and only come in the natural color. I saw Disana has their leggings in many colors, but on the tiny birds organic web page it sas that they can be worn over a diaper and a cover... Can't I use these leggings AS the cover? I mean they are wool?

or does anyone know of another longie type that they love? I'm looking for something a bit more lightweight than the aristocrats and that come in solid dark colors.. like navy blue or brown since these will be his pants essentially... I just want to go all wool this fall/winter and i'm starting early! i guess because the weather here in NY has been so lovely the past two days, it feels like september out!

Sustainable Babyish makes karate pants out of wool interlock in various colors. There are literally a dozen or more WAHMs on HC, etsy or similar that do the same - either knit or interlock, and you can usually request colors.

I'll also say though that dyeing wool is really easy, so if you find something you like in natural, you can always dye it.

I have DS's wool mostly from Kozy Wool - I go for the more neutral styles for the most part. These are daytime weight, and if you get them through a co-op, are usually less than $20. I also have some Babyology I got through a co-op. Similar price, but they're a night-time weight.
