But was it really that different with your daughter when she was a newborn? It's hard for me to remember now, really, but I KNOW that when DD was a newborn I was offering all the time when she didn't need to go. Because I remember when she turned one all of a sudden we got into a groove and I was so excited that she would almost always go when I offered. Plus I remember giving presentations on EC and trying to demo during the presentation (when she was really little, haha), and looking like a fool because I'd offer four times and then she'd pee in her trainers.
I'm pretty sure that's normal for most newborns. After a few kids you just stop noticing misses cuz you're so used to wiping pee off the floor. That's my conviction, anyway!
