crayfish- that sounds like a bfp to me! I've heard some women say the $tree tests never get dark. please update us when you do a FRER- I bet it will be dark. Have you been testing everyday? I looked at your chart, and I wonder if you actually O'd a few days later...

Hooray for everyone who just O'd!

Lifeguard, I'm hoping for you this month.

RCR, fx for you. so early still.

AFM- BFN @ 13dpo on a FRER. I'm so bummed. The bitter side of me asking my RE to up my progest supps is that now I won't get AF until I STOP them. Any advice on when to call myself out for sure? I was thinking 16dpo.. until crayfish just got a bfp @ 18... hm...

Oh babygrey - I hope you get a bfp. I could never bring myself to test before 14dpo 'cause I can't take the disappointment!

I am SOOOO tired! I hope this means my progesterone levels are up which would make this cycle much more likely to work!

Haven't been around lately, sorry gals...trying not to obsess too much this cycle .

Rachel~congrats!!!!!!

Lifeguard~ great to see u O'd

Socali~sorry about af.....onto a new cycle and a new chance!

Also congrats to the other newbies that got bfps!!

AFM~Nothing new...hoping to O within the next week or so, so let the bd begin ! Started the vitex this cycle, but it gave me gas and a slight nauseous feeling. Haven't taken it the last few days and I feel much better; I'm taking it as a sign . Cd 21 here, maybe I'll O b4 28 . I can wish and dream, right! Thinking about giving in and buying some opks.........

I didn't get a till 19DPO with my dd caitlin and then it was a squinter i had to pull the test apart and hold to the light to see it, acutually the only reason i believed it was positive was because my sister saw it too.
also with my dd chloe i didn't test till 2 1/2 late for my period and then it was only a faint line.

for you

Hi ladies!
Can I be added to waiting to O?
DH and I are hoping to add to our brood soon. We were CTA/whatevering, and had an oops last month. We were both disappointed when I wasn't pg, so I think we're going to be even less careful and see where it leads. I'm currently nursing DD who is 21 months.

Here is a link to my chart. Though, it's pretty boring today b/c I'm only at CD2! Hopefully it gets more interesting as the month goes on!!

Thanks!

Since I wasn't temping while away, I don't know exactly how many days past O I am - 3-5 days. Had cramps all 2nd half of night, now spotting and a low temp. So it's looking like I have a 3-5 day luteal phase right now! :-( I guess I'm not surprised for my 1st ovulatory cycle.

sorry, Cindy. I'm glad you O'd, I hope your LP lengthens out quickly. Are you taking B6?

Sorry you're feeling crappy, Becky, and thanks for the stories of encouragement

AFM, BFN at 14dpo. Progesterone supps are kinda mean, cuz my chart looks like I could be pg and my body feels like crap. and, well, bfn at 14dpo. That means I'm mostly out, right?

Here's hoping for all of us!

I'm back to waiting to O. AF started last night. But at least I have another chance in July!

I'm thinking about not using my progesterone cream. I only had a 25 day cycle this time, but I'm pretty sure it got cut short because I just stopped using the progesterone when I was sure I wasn't PG. I don't feel like I can sense what's happening with my body when I'm using it.

I guess I'll make my annual thyroid check-up appointment. Then I'll ask the doc if I should be on progesterone cream anyway. He had suggested it last time I was TTC but I forget why. Within two cycles I was PG after trying for 8 months so I just started using it to TTC again.

Good luck everyone!

I wouldn't count yourself out yet. I was obsessively looking online because I thought I read somewhere that if you didn't have a BFP by 14 DPO, that was it. According to the internet, not so. I still haven't picked up a FRER test yet (at lunch...my daughter did not handle my 3 days away very well ...neither did DH ), but from everything I read there were LOTS of stories where women had negatives until up to 22 days. I think TCOYF also says 18 DPO (although I guess the progesterone makes everything questionable. Sigh). One thing I've never seen mentioned is how hieght/weight affects HCG concentrations early on. I'm tall and still carrying ~15lbs of baby wieght, plus the 10 extra (who am I kidding...15) I was carrying when I got pregnant. Does it take longer for HCG concentrations to reach the point of detection in taller/fatter women than in those who are thin? Am I talking out my ass?

Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I don't know where these data come from, but they might offer some reassurance, babygrey. I read somewhere that 6.4 million women get pregnant each year, so assuming that the data in that chart are accurate, 416000 don't get a BFP until at least 15DPO.

http://www.babymed.com/pregnancy-sym...ll-be-pregnant

...and is my math wrong? It might be...if only 74% of pregnant women had a BFP at 15DPO, that means 6.4 million - (6.4 million x 0.74), then ~1.6 million get BFPs after 15DPO. So, you're not out yet!!

More reassurance. I really need to get back to work.

Babygrey: I'm not taking B6. How much should one take? Does it have to be taken w/a B complex? If so, how much of that? I'm only taking vitex and I only started that last Thursday so I doubt it's had a huge effect on me yet.

Becky: Sorry you are sick! Hope you feel better soon!
