PUL Cover for Chubby Legs?

We are having cover issues.. I love the Dancing Bears fleece covers that we have, but I need something for when we go out. I am sick of stuffing pockets, but right now that is all I can really use when out and about. My kids have pot bellies and chubby thighs but slim hips. I prefer snaps because they last longer but if there is a velcro cover out there that will work better I will try it! I also prefer 1 or 2 size since we are about to have 3 in diapers but again, I wil try sized as well.

i love motherease airflow covers since you can adjust the waist and hips separately. i find the sizes overlap a lot. my dd is 5.5m and 15lbs and can wear a M perfectly and a SM and XSM easily.

My older son is 36" (ish) and about 30 pounds, and my younger son is 29-30 inches and about 24 pounds... what size air flow cover would they wear probably? do they work well over prefolds?

Any other suggestions?

We love our Mommy's Touch One size covers. Ds was chubby, chubby, chubby when he was younger & they worked great. He still not real slim & they still work great on him.

We use Thirsties covers with prefolds. My daughter doesn't have the chubbiest thighs ever, but she is a big girl, and Thirsties fit her very well.

What about the Bum Genius Flip (which I've used and really like on my chubby-thighed 21 month old)?

I should probably try the flips... I have heard good things about them. Maybe Thirsties too. I have 2 Duo snap covers and am really not a fan of them but maybe some velcro sized ones would be better.

Not from experience, but from my recent browsing you could check the kissaluvs one-size marvel cover or blueberry coveralls (also OS) - they look like they'd fit similarly to thirsties covers BUT do have snaps and are OS.

Of stuff I have used, I know imse vimse covers aren't snapping but I think they'd work well and I've find the aplix on them to hold up much better than others (usually a reason I prefer snaps too). I've like thirsties okay too, and agree they fit pretty well for a lot of size variations (I've used just the sized and not the duo covers, though).

I love Thirsties DuoWraps covers for my chunky-legged baby, and they work well with prefolds. I also like the new Happy Heinys covers, but the elastic pills and they seem kind of bulky with prefolds.

GAD makes a great side-snapping PUL cover with fleece trim on the leg and waist openings. Very gentle, and husky medium, ML and L all work on chubby thighs.

Ooo those GAD covers sound great!! My little guys just have SUCH sensitive skin that it seems like all the legs on normal PUL covers cut into their little legs The fleece on the legs sounds great tho...
