just thinking out loud - sleep option for our new home

1) continue what we have - queen mattress on a frame w/ side-car crib. this is getting old, though. when dh wants to cuddle w/ ds in the middle of us, *I* end up in the crib (and im 8 months pregnant!) future baby can sleep in a pack in play for a month or so pushed up against the other side of the bed, but this means switching sides for dh and i

2)put mattress on floor and push ds crib mattress next to our bed until we get him a twin, and then when the baby comes have baby #2 sleep in a moses basket next to my side, w/ ds1 next to my dh

3)keep everything the same until baby comes, then move ds1 into his own bed in our room w/ the new baby in the side car. i think my dh likes this ... but not me ..

i dont feel comfortable w/ a newborn in our bed, hence the pack n play and moses basket ... which one sounds reasonable? i like #2 best

I like # 2 as well as long as dh is willing. The main thing I remind myself of when deciding these things is that nothing is permanent. We started out with the arm's reach, used a cradle a couple of nights, moved the crib to our room, and now at 9 months, LO starts in her crib and comes to my room some time between 5-7 am usually. I put my mattress on the floor because I was constantly worried about her falling and I bring her in at some point every night.
