Unfortunately she said her 6 month old is "potty trained" which made online commenters go crazy - calling her "liar" and "child abuser". It's too bad, because she could have really informed the general public about this very healthy and natural practice.

I've seen this on several websites, and it's always the headline that says she said he's potty-trained. But when they quote her, she only says that he poops in the potty morning & afternoon after breastfeeding. I haven't seen her say that he's potty-trained anywhere, just that she read an EC book and is practicing it. I think the bloggers are extrapolating that she's claiming he's potty-trained because they don't know anything about EC, and the idea of an infant using the potty is bizarre to them.

I have to say, I kind of like her, what with her having the baby in her bathtub, beastfeeding him, and practicing EC! She seems like an AP mama.

You're right - I guess I skimmed the articles. I have nothing against her, I was more annoyed by the comments from the ignorant.
