I have a small thirsties. It's a discontinued color, but places still have them. I got mine from sewcraftybaby.com. It looks like they still have a couple -- in xsmall and large.

Wow, there doesn't seem to be much choice for red covers out there! The only one I came across in my quick search was the Baby Beehinds PUL cover:

Not sure if wool or fleece are an option, those should give you a lot of colour choices. Especially if you get them custom-made.

It looks like diaperware does have some red thirsties covers.

And here's a baby beehinds cover that's red too.

Would a red FuzziBunz be an option? Their one-size dipes would make a great gift.

Tiny Tush makes them.

Booroi makes red!

Try Greener Baby They're pockets, but less expensive than most.

These are really cute and what a great price! I would also love to know if anyone here has tried them?

I've been using them for maybe three months on my 16mo. I'd been using covers and prefolds that I got from Freecycle for my eldest and was having a bit of diaper fatigue. The price was right on the Greener Baby diaps and I gave them a try.

I am no diaper expert (I mean really, I diapered 2 babes in used, free prefolds and covers!) but these are working great for us. I sometimes double up the insert for night, but not always. They seem well made and we've still got one set of snaps to undo, so there's room to grow.

Happy Heinys and FuzziBunz both have red!
Good Luck.

So you're saying Thirsties discontinued red? I am not seeing that on amazon, I was able to add a newborn size (xs) to my cart.

Yes, you can find them instock, but they have been discontinued so places that have a few won't be getting more red once the ones they have are sole.. Here are the current colors http://www.thirstiesbaby.com/covers.php
