woah!!!! isnt that waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast? 3 degrees in 15 minutes?!!!! isnt that dangerous too.
my almost 8 year old has had tylenol once in her life at 3 months with a fever of 105.
her normal fever is 104. when she gets to that i put cool towels behind her knees, sponge her back and back of her neck. or a tepid water bath. if she wants to. mostly its sponges every 15 mins. i do it to reduce the fever a tad bit.
sometimes i do nothing too. she has had a fever of 104 and was riding her bicycle. she didnt even have the glazed eye look. i just made her get down and read and give her body a rest.
for fevers i dont look at the temperature. i look at how sick my dd looks. never has she ever suffered a fever. ever.
instead she has been far 'sicker looking' suffering with a fever less stomach flu.
the key is i made sure she got enough fluids in her. lots and lots of fluids. little amounts at regular intervals.
