help with health/food/excersise issues

hey...
not a big poster but i could really use some feedback. I have been having some health issues on and off and am trying to solve them. I am also an on and off fitness buff and i love being strong and in shape! I have four small kids and my youngest is 41/2. after she was born I have pretty much transformed my body and am really strong, fit etc.... I can keep up with most anything.
the problem is the balance between strong and fit...and feeling like i have to restrict my diet a lot to figure out why my GI tract hates me! i have literally had every test known to man done and am trying to deal with it through diet and herbs also... i just want to find that balance where i actually have a higher metabolism because I'm eating plenty and frequently but also running and working out a ton. that's when i feel best....but then i start getting sick, start being scared to eat, then i loose energy and have to chill out on my workout routine...right now i just feel so low energy.
I/m not sure what exactly I'm, looking for but any advice on how to turn things around before I start to actually loose significant muscle mass would be helpful...
anynone else deal with this in some way?

I don't really have any advice for you, wish I did. How often do you eat? For me, eating pretty much all day works. 6 small meals probably. Are there any certain foods that make you sick? Do you have any anxiety issues, that could also affect your stomach?

i try to eat frequently but it is scary sometimes because it can be so painful...if i do smaller amounts it is better. I don't usually suffer from any anxiety but being sick on and off has made food a chore and that in and of itself is stressful....which doesn't help! thanks for responding...I was having a particularly bad morning i think. I feel a lot better today even. i just go really up and down. They are looking at Celiac or long time Lyme disease infection since I was a kid. I just need to do my best while we figure it all out.
It is hard though because I love love love to fell strong through my yoga, running and aerial circus stuff I do and I just am starting to feel like it's effecting me i guess. I hadn't felt that yet and I worked so hard to get strong and feel this good and i just wanna try to be good to myself without slipping to far back!! yesterday after I posted that I just tried eating small but frequent amounts and seemed to have pretty good energy..

thanks for asking though it's hard not to feel like I'm taxing my DP talking about it all so much.

I'm wondering if just toning down your exercise a little bit until your health is sorted out might help...
Maybe paying attention to burning less calories? Such as brisk walking instead of running? And fewer times a week? And slow your yoga routine down a little maybe? You may lose some muscle tone, but the more you exercise - the more you have to eat! And it sounds like this is hard for you.
I'm really sorry I don't have better advice

thanks i know that is part of it and is hard for me...but it is so long term i guess I'm just struggling like I'm crossing over to being chronically ill with no end in sight and that is such a drag. I like me how I am.
