Sleep Victory!

We had an awesome night last night and I just wanted to share!

Ds2 co-slept full time and had full night nursing access until he was 12 months old. He was waking up to nurse typically once an hour with the biggest stretch going to about 2-2.5 hours. I was exhausted.

I got pregnant again unexpectedly when he was almost 10 months old, so the end of my first trimester roughly coincided with his first birthday. By the time he was 12 months old, my milk supply had practically vanished.

In preparation for the new baby, we night-weaned at 13 months and, last week, moved him into a full sized bed in ds1's room.

Last night, ds2 slept from 10:30-almost 7 without waking (he went to bed at 9, but the dogs started barking and woke him up at 10:30)!

I don't know if the difference is being in a full bed so that he can move and roll and twist without bumping into a crib (which he only started sleeping in at 13 months) or what, but I'm feeling so hopeful about his sleep progress!
