Share tips and tricks, and words of wisdom on how to enjoy our time making a baby as much as we can!

Anyone is free to join!
Please BOLD new member info, changes in cycle, Big Fat Positives, adding charts etc, and if I miss it, direct message me.

Welcome to July, everyone!

I think echospiritwarrior wanted a break now that she's pregnant, so I started a July thread.

I was thinking of doing some list cleanup, as there appear to be many people who don't post here anymore. What do you all think? Like maybe keep those who have posted in the last 2 months?

But it will have to wait until tomorrow probably because it's almost midnight here.

Anyway, good luck to all of us in July!

Weekend Check-In
Name: Samantha--Mrs.D08
Date: 7/2/2010
Where are you in your cycle: CD 16
Symptoms if they apply: O Pain?
When are you thinking of testing: not testing
Thoughts: frustrated....that's why I'm back here!
Appointments: Trying to get more info from a new clinic in southern Maine.
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: Went off of Melatonin because I found out it's basically an oral contraceptive that prohibits O. Now I'm on Valerian Root for sleeping....taking a break from Maca...but still on B complex for LP length (which is still never longer than 12 days).
Do you have any stress triggers: The doctor's office staff STRESSES ME OUT!!!!!!!!
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: Nothing so far, thus I am here for support!
Partners feelings if applicable: Not sure...we're thinking about donor sperm...also thinking about taking a break....
Plans for this weekend: making strawberry jam, picnic and fireworks Sunday evening! Oh and someone is coming to look at a car we have for sale, so we might get the money we've been looking for to do some stuff around the property (a fence for the backyard, a new deck and a sliding glass door out onto the deck!!).

ETA: to Jenniferadurham!

Weekend Check-In

Name: Sweet.Bee
Date: 3 July 2010
Where are you in your cycle: CD17
Symptoms if they apply: Watery CM most of the time, but occasionally during the day I get a watery-creamy combo. Hm? I was hoping to O this weekend, but my body is confusing me.
When are you thinking of testing: OPKs daily.
Thoughts: Hoping to O!
Appointments: I just received a letter in the mail reminding me to go in for my yearly. I had hoped to be pregnant for it. I guess if this cycle is a bust, I'll go next month for the yearly. But I still hope to go in saying, "I'm pregnant!"
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: OPKs are new this cycle. I think they're making me less stressed b/c I feel like we will get some notice before O. Oh, and I've joined a mama fitness group.
Do you have any stress triggers: Worrying about O, worrying about getting pregnant soon... but I'm trying not to worry.
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: Writing a lot more. Trying to get out with my little one.
Partners feelings if applicable: Relaxed.
Plans for this weekend: Yesterday, we had a party picnic given yearly by my husband's company, and our son had so much fun. The summer festival is going on in the city, so we might go to that a bit. We'd also like to buy a nice backpack to carry him around for walks, hikes, etc.

Banana, I know what you mean about feeling a bit stressed.

I have been so calm all this waiting to O time, but it's now CD19 with negative OPKs, freakish CM that changes between varying combos of creamy/watery/(marginal) EW throughout the day, a cervix that was feeling so soft/open and ready to welcome the little sperm (but now is like a grumpy old lady), sensitive breasts like around O, increased sex drive. . . and my husband didn't even want to BD just for fun last night. He's totally willing to do it when it's part of our baby-making schedule (we're loosely doing every other day until + OPK, then every day), but not when I just want to. Sigh. I know I shouldn't complain because he's really been awesome about the whole TTC thing, but I just feel down.

Sorry for the rant. I'm going to try to de-stress now.

Weekend Check-In
Name: Waiting4SJ
Date: 8-5-10
Where are you in your cycle: CD 12
Symptoms if they apply: None
When are you thinking of testing: 14 DPO.
Thoughts: Not to stressed about the BFP (easy to say until I'm in the 2ww, lol). There's so much going on in my life to keep me busy.
Appointments: None.
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: None.
Do you have any stress triggers: DH leaving in 6 weeks. Oddly enough, boredom is quite a stress factor. I thought I'd look forward to the school break but I wish I was still taking classes..
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: Not in a hurry. I keep reminding myself that we don't HAVE to get a BFP before DH leaves. I'm 21, he's 22. Although I can't wait to start a family, we have PLENTLY of time.
Partners feelings if applicable: Busy busy busy. Poor DH has been working for the last three days on little/no sleep. No time to even think about DTD.
Plans for this weekend: I went to the fireworks with my mom and younger brothers. Spent a lot of time at their place since DH was working most the weekend.

I hope so! If I O in the next few days, I still have a chance at a March baby. Wow, how lame am I that I'm checking due date calculators before I've even ovulated.

Can I join???? I've been at this for almost a year... had an ectopic in Dec and I cannot count the number of early m/cs Hoping beyond hope that this happens soon!

Weekend Check-In
Name: Vanessa
Date: july 6
Where are you in your cycle: 2WW of H3LL!
Symptoms if they apply: nausea, dizziness, light cramping, periodic brown spotting, sore boobs. But I also think I may have Fifth Disease, so who knows what that could be causing.
When are you thinking of testing: Five days- July 12
Thoughts: On one hand I really would like to be pregnant this cycle. OTOH I might have fifths and that can cause issues. Plus my younger DD's bday is 4/21, so this might cause birthdays to overlap, which I was really hoping to avoid.
Appointments: None. We don't have insurance.
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: B-6 200 mg daily for months. Two squirts of progesterone cream everyday in the 2WW.
Do you have any stress triggers: Going potty because I hate seeing this spotting.
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: Knowing that maybe this isn't the best cycle to get my BFP
Partners feelings if applicable: Excited and sad when it doesn't happen.
Plans for this weekend: Cleaning out our garage and moving my dad's stuff to his house.

I always think the *same* thing... I get so excited to find the EW and wonder how grossed out people would be if I told them why I'm so happy

Can you add:
me (31) DH (34) TTC#3 Cycle 5

Thanks
