How is everyone doing? Anyone testing? Anyone ready to O? Anyone have any jokes?

I'm only on CD5, so I'm kind of bored at the moment. But I'm looking forward to my hair appointment this Friday and my doctor's appointment next Tuesday!

Sweet Bee you lapped me! ha ha ha. I'm waiting waiting waiting.... but not obsessing or stressing. It doesn't help anything!

I'm cooking a bangup dinner for my hubby tonight. It's his bday. Delicious sirloin, pesto fettucini, broccoli, and a spice cake with cream cheese frosting. Woo hoo!

At least I can have some red wine.

annaconda, have you started a new cycle yet? I seem to remember you were like 20DPO? Maybe you're pregnant?

Yum, dinner!

no I just have a really really really long wait sometimes for AF to finally happen. I got a BFN just the other day, was just checking, I know I'm not pregnant. I've had cramps for over a week.

annaconda, That must be frustrating. Maybe it will be better with the OPKs to help pinpoint ovulation. Are you also charting?

Weekend Check-In

Name: Sweet.Bee
Date: 30 July 2010 (last July checkin!)
Where are you in your cycle: CD7
Symptoms if they apply: No longer bleeding. I still have some spotting, but that's almost gone, too. And I have. . . watery CM. Already? That's got to be a new record for me. Maybe my body is going for three weeks of fertile CM this cycle.
When are you thinking of testing: Still trying to figure out when to start OPKs. Not with fertile CM because that would be today.
Thoughts: I would like to be pregnant with a healthy baby this cycle, please.
Appointments: My yearly on Tuesday. I'm bringing my charts.
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: I want to try cranberry juice, but I can't find any w/o added sugar.
Do you have any stress triggers: The wait to O.
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: I'm going for the distraction approach. My dad and brother will be visiting at the beginning of August (which is unfortunately bad for our BD schedule, but we're not stopping for anything ). I've been exercising, writing, taking my son out to the park now that he can enjoy that.
Partners feelings if applicable: Still relaxed, though I think he would like this to be our cycle, too. If it is, my due date would be almost the same as it was with our son.
Plans for this weekend: Having my hair done in like an hour. Not sure what else we'll be doing this weekend, but probably a bit of cleaning again.

Well I think I'm heading into the trying not to obsess phase. CD9 now but having some strong signs that O is coming. This would be consistent with the shorter cycles I was having before last cycle. OPKs still faint though and I don' know how much faith to put tin them. the charting thing is new to me and interesting but I don't know how accurate I am yet. Also my temps (from day 1) have been a little higher than I've seen (97.3 to 97.9). But sleep is irregular so... I guess I'll just hang in.

Weekend Check-In
Name: Waiting4SJ
Date: July 31st
Where are you in your cycle: CD 38, 15-18 DPO (I don't keep a complete chart or use O kits, so it's kinda a guessing game).
Symptoms if they apply: No AF
When are you thinking of testing: ASAP
Thoughts: I can't believe I didn't realize that it's already 15 DPO with no AF! I need to go to the store & get an HPT ASAP!!!
Appointments: None
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: None
Do you have any stress triggers: TONS! One of the reasons I have not been keeping track of my cycle this month is too much stress. A new job, moving, both DH & I have been sick...
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle:
Partners feelings if applicable: He knows AF is soon, but doesn't realize I'm late already. I don't plan on telling him until I see if I get a BFP.
Plans for this weekend: Going out clubbing (but no drinking for me), work tomorrow, pack more boxes.

Name: heathenmom
Date: July 31, 2010
Where are you in your cycle: CD9
Symptoms if they apply: Nothing yet ...
When are you thinking of testing: n/a
Thoughts: Worrying that financially, having another child is probably really irresponsible, but feeling the pressure of turning 40 and running out of time ...
Appointments: Nothing...
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: Started taking maca last weekend. It does seem to give me more energy during the day, but not doing much to help me feel more energetic in the evenings, when I actually need it. Maybe I was expecting too much?
Do you have any stress triggers: Work was ... exciting this week. And my car broke down in the middle of the busiest street in town, on the hottest day of the year, at noon. It is now in the shop, where they won't be able to look at it until Monday. Tentative dx is either a blown hose or a cracked head. Yay.
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: I've been cooking and baking like a madwoman today, which distracts me and makes me happy (but I ate WAY too much grain and now my bG is a little elevated ).
Partners feelings if applicable: He's ready to get down to bidness with the actual ttc'ing part of the cycle.
Plans for this weekend: Stuck at home unless I borrow a family member's car, so probably just house-y stuff.
