Weekend Check-In

Name: Sweet.Bee
Date: 9 July 2010
Where are you in your cycle: CD23 (ovulation is near!)
Symptoms if they apply: O pain.
When are you thinking of testing: I'm going to do another OPK in a bit to see if it's still positive as yesterday's was.
Thoughts: Excited to O soon!
Appointments: Still need to schedule my yearly. If I turn out pregnant this cycle, it will be a first prenatal checkup too.
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: Nothing new but the OPKs.
Do you have any stress triggers: My husband just injured his back, poor guy. It also, of course, had to happen right before O. His work has a free gym for employees, and I'm going to make him start going to strengthen his body, so he doesn't have to go through the pain again.
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: Writing!
Partners feelings if applicable: Back pain.
Plans for this weekend: Probably no BD. Also, we were supposed to take an overnight trip Fri-Sat, but I don't think we're going now due to my husband's back injury. So, we'll most likely stay here and chill out. I may go to my first post-baby night out tomorrow night with some mamas from my son's playgroup.

Hi Sweet Bea and Banana

Yes my husband is cute. He's going back and forth from hiding his head in the sand and being cute and curious. I'm happy for him... it must be interesting and a little tough to be on the other side of the couple when you ttc for the first time and your wife swears she's pregnant from day 1.

Sweet Bea... hope your husband's back feels better soon. Some gentle movement may be the best thing... but he will know best if it's something that's happened before. (I'm a yoga teacher).

6DPO... feeling sharper twinges today. Yesterday hubby confirmed that my BBS were a bit different - he could tell veins were standing up off them a bit. "Is that a thing?" he asked and I just laughed.

Weekend Check-In
Name: Black Orchid
Date: 7/9
Where are you in your cycle: 11 DPO!
Symptoms if they apply: NAUSEA!!! Gosh, I think I am finally over the fifths, but I'm still nauseous if I don't eat right on time. And my boobs hurt a lot. Like with my first pregnancy.
When are you thinking of testing: SUNDAY!!!! (Can you tell I'm excited?)
Thoughts: I think I'm pregnant! Ireally do. I am barely spotting anymore and I have the same sxs I had the week before I tested with my DD1.
Appointments: None.
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: That my uterus is open and able to accept the gift of life!
Do you have any stress triggers: When I go to the bathroom and see the brown on the TP.
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: Focusing on my girls activities and getting caught up with the chores I ignored when I was sick.
Partners feelings if applicable: Excited. Wants me to test now.
Plans for this weekend: Moving my dad's stuff from our garage and organizing my office.

Sweet Pea, Lots baby dust for you and everyone else expecting to O this weekend. I hope your DH feels better

ADORABLE! Reminds me of when my husband sees me taking my temperature like 1DPO and he's like, "Does your temperature say you're pregnant?" He's my little TTC monkey.

Um, PLUS the veins--that's a pretty intriguing symptom, there...this is no stressors so I'm not going to freak out but it sounds pretty darn hopeful to me!

Weekend Check-In

Name: Banana
Date: 7/10
Where are you in your cycle: cd 13
Symptoms if they apply: kinda hungry, a little sore all over, and my lymp nodes are tender??
When are you thinking of testing: ummm
Thoughts:
Appointments:
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: probiotic
Do you have any stress triggers: nope
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: I told myself at the begining of my cycle, that it was going to happen or not, and I couldn't change that by freaking out.
Partners feelings if applicable: he's still sleeping
Plans for this weekend: trying to be actually happy, instead of cautiously optimistic.

Where are you in your cycle: CD17. O should be sometime this week.
Symptoms if they apply: None.
When are you thinking of testing: No idea.
Thoughts: Probably won't end up DTD this cycle.. Poor DH is sick, pretty bad cold..
Appointments: Nope
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: Nope
Do you have any stress triggers: Not stressed, but slightly resigned about this month... Sigh.
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: Packing. Seems backwards, but it's keeping me busy and that keeps me from obsessing too much about TTC.
Partners feelings if applicable: He probably hasn't even realized that being sick means less BD. It's more something that occurs naturally. And If I pointed it out, he'd try to force himself to feel up to it, and then I'd feel bad and I'd probably end up sick myself.
Plans for this weekend: DH had drill training today, I work today, going to the movies with some family tonight, going to see my best friend tomorrow.

Im back in this thread to obsess. Tested at 6 and 7 dpo BFNs. Resisted the urge to test this morning at 8 DPO with FMU because that feeling of disappointment for the ENTIRE DAY after seeing a BFN is awful.....but I do still want to test today..agh no self control!

I know I don't have much chance this cycle anyway, but can't help getting my hopes up....what's wrong with me??

Waiting I say dose yourself with some vit C and let the BD commence!

Hey, no reason not to hope! You most likely got some in there, you Oed a couple days later! I think you have a good chance.

Early testing is way stressful. I hear you. I'm glad I was able to hold off, I totally would have gotten a BFP if I had started earlier.

How are things coming with the new donor? Maybe looking forward to having 2 donors (if you need them!) might help!

Well I only have 3 pregnancy tests left, so I should wait really.

I'm glad I've found a new donor, but I told him I don't want to TTC until September. My reason for that is I found him through the internet, and feel quite uneasy about using an UNKNOWN donor as Im used to having a known donor....so I think I need that time to get more comfortable with the idea. In the meantime for July and August Im hoping to continue using my present donor guy.

Just an update... I'm out for this cycle. showed up this morning. So April 2011, here we come!
I just tested at 8 DPO and took the test outside and looked at it under the bright light of the sun, and I can see some sort of line....but since I can only see it in the sunlight, is it just showing up the area where a line would appear if it was positive? Like that line I can see, is just a mark where the positive line would appear.....?
its like a shadow?

Banana, I said this on The One, but it bears saying again--CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Samy--sorry you're having a hard time. I know you know it might be a good idea just to hold off on testing for a few more days--it is still VERY early, and whether you test or not won't change the end results. Is there anything you can do to distract yourself? Go for a hike or something?

The 8DPO test could be something, could be not--to me it sounds like it might be a shadow or indent, but that doesn't at all mean you're not pregnant. Good luck, and take care of yourself...

BlackOrchid-- sorry for AF. But April is a very nice month to have a baby, I bet! No not seeing winter ice because your belly's so big, no feeling like you'll die from the heat...

I wish I could but I've had to stay home all day as dd is sick! So yeah Im driving myself crazy over-thinking it. I'm trying to get some studying done, but I can't focus on it LOL...talk about getting your hopes up eh. I'll have to go to bed early tonight so tomorrow comes sooner

Banana, yay! Congratulations! May I add you to the July BFP list?

Black Orchid, and good luck for the next cycle.

annaconda, he's had pain a few times before. We did get in some BD luckily, as O pains and OPKs indicate I probably Oed late last night or early this morning. He took some painkillers and muscle relaxing pills he had from his doctor last time. His work has a free gym for employees, so I'm trying to get him to go there. It's funny you mentioned yoga, as I told him he really should sign up for that class at his work gym to strengthen his core.

samy23, you definitely got some sperm in there. I'm not sure how to make you feel better with the BFNs, except to say it's so early still. FF's study says most women won't get a BFP until 13dpo. for you.

***
So, it turns out we did take our little overnight trip after all, thanks to some painkillers. And some BD thanks to them too.

I think I just ovulated, and I hope tomorrow morning's temp will confirm this. Today is already CD24, so I better have. My O gets later each month. Crazy.

Just saying hello!

I'm waiting on a call for a birth (I feel it coming, but I could be wrong) and just stepping into my fertile time, should activate the ovaries.

I had some very early EWCM & ferning on my saliva scope, we took advantage of it and I tried out some OPK's. The line started out dark (but not positive) and seems to be fading. I'm on cycle day 14...so I anticipate in the coming days.

I also pretty sure I'm getting pregnant this month. Just putting that out there

Being off the boards is helping so much in being stress free. I miss you all, but know where I need to be.

Hugs & light to you all

Weekend Check-In
Name:Blanca78
Date: 7/11
Where are you in your cycle: 7 DPO
Symptoms if they apply: None to speak of. If I press hard on my nipples they're a little sore, heh. Some twinges in my abdomen, but could be digestive. In all honesty, nothing.
When are you thinking of testing:
Thoughts: Vacillating between feeling totally calm and almost indifferent, to not being able to stop thinking ahead to 11 DPO--that's typically when I get my temp drop, so if no drop then, I'll test.
Appointments:
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc:
Do you have any stress triggers:
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: My garden! Preparing to teach in a couple of weeks. Writing.
Partners feelings if applicable: He's a writer and constantly using his laptop. I've been bugging him for months to use a pillow or lap desk, but he blows me off and jokes about it. It makes me feel like he's not taking me or TTC seriously. Finally I cited some studies and kind of blew up about it last night, and I think I got through to him. He's sitting w/legs apart and computer on a pillow as I write this
Plans for this weekend:Going to a lake house with my parents, DH, and sisters. It'll be a bit tough to test 11 DPO because my parents will be staying over the night before. I guess that's a distraction & incentive to wait a little longer.

Hesperia--sounds like you're in a good place. I totally understand the need to stay away. I also like what you say about someone else's birth inspiring your body to O. Good luck!
