Holiday weekends are usually when i do all my deep cleaning since DH is home to do all the heavy lifting for me. Hes gone right now but I REALLY need to get some cleaning done. Its horrible in my house right now.. I hope to get most of the cleaning done by Tuesday since he might be coming home as early as Thursday
and I really don't want him walking into a trashed house and feeling like he needs to spend the time cleaning instead of playing with the girls. Here is my list of to dos:

- wipe down cabinets
-clean out fridge/freezer
- General cleaning

- Move bookcase that currently has the fish tank on it to the closet we are going to be using for homes chool supplies.
- Set up an area to put the keyboard and keyboard books.
- Spray down rugs and hang dry (we have bamboo rugs which are great but the girls tend to spill on them so a couple times a month they need a good spray down)
- Wipe down AC units for mold and spot clean any mold spots on the walls.
- Get rid of the three bags of misc items that have collected in the living room, either call the thrift store for drop off times or find out if they will pick them up.
- Clean out both AC vents.
-clean out the dehumidifer
Hallway
- clear out the toys and books that the girls have collected there
-Organize linen closet
- Spot clean any mold spots
- check the batteries in the fire alarm to see if they are still good

- straighten out drawers and closets
- clean out behind the headboard
Office/den
- general clean up
- clean off desk

Other things I need to eventually get done:
- Work on HMB cause I told my DH Id have it done by the time he got home. Its been a work in progress for almost 6 months now
- price web cams since i was suppose to do that weeks ago as well
- balance the checkbook
- check the mail
- Return the videos that are way past due
- library run
- make a list of organizational things I would like to get to help organize the house
- Make a list of books to read, I have a ton of books I have been given and bought that I haven't read. I need to make a conscious effort to read them.
- Call the clinic on Tuesday and see when I can come in to get the ball rolling on making the first prenatal appointment. Ill be 9 weeks on Tuesday and i haven't even started looking into it.
- Make a baby gift for someone who just had their baby
- E-mail my grandma back.
Thats about it. I hope to get some of it done, lately my days have rotated between trying not to throw up, throwing up and trying to calm my girls down because mommy isn't feeling well. Im going to give it my best shot at least. Even if I get half of it done the house will be at least presentable when my DH gets back.
What about you all? Any of you do cleaning on holiday weekends? Whats on your to do list?

Finished Girls Room
Ive decided to save going through the cupboards until my DH is home. I don't feel comfortable standing on a chair with my girls climbing all over me and as soon as they see me on a chair they want to join in.
