TTC post miscarriage

Thread Starter
I miscarried last year at 8 weeks, waited 3 months, and then it took me 10 months to conceive again. I took soy isaflavones the month it took because I noticed that I tended to ovulate late and had short lps. Anyway, I just found out at almost 6 weeks that I am miscarrying again, but this time I won't need a d&c. I went to the re and had all the tests done - day 3, estradiol, and an hsg and everything came back normal. Should I just try again on my own right away? Take any supplements? Any evidence that it won't take so long to get pg again? I have two children, and it was easy to get pg with them - 3 cycles post miscarriage for the first, and first cycle with the second.

I guess I am just looking for reassurance, or something. This just sucks.

I am very sorry for your losses. You need to come over to the pregnancy and birth loss section. Join us in the Hope, Healing, and Conceiving again thread. You will find tons of advice and support along the way.

I am so sorry. Loss is devistating enough as it is but put that on top of having a loss when you are pg because you were TTCing and that just makes it hurt all the more.

I have had a few losses inbetween the births of my children. I don't know why that is, but all I do know is that I did concieve again.

My baby sister has had several losses also. She was told that it was normal and that it just meant maybe the egg wasn't viable.

You will get your LO. I will keep you in my thoughts and as said in the PP you should consider joining in on the pregnancy and birth loss section. Good luck to you.
