12 hour labor, of which really the last 2-1/2 hours were the most intense, successful VBA2C, 30 minutes of pushing, born 45 minutes after arriving at hospital in a downpour.
I am "the amazing VBACer," as dubbed by the nurses. I am empowered.
This is what birth should be. My boy is healthy, happy, safe, and loved. And I am blessed.

Enjoy your babymoon!
Congratulations! And way to be empowered on the VBAC! I secretly kind of feel like if I'd ever get pregnant again (NOT in the plans, but since when can we plan these things? lol) I would fight to get a VBA2C. I had my first and last c's with 2 VBAC's in the middle. My OB said anything fro this point forward would be a c. Knowing that others have done it makes me think I could too.
