bad IUI?

Do you think this is a sign of a bad IUI? I felt the tip of the long needle (not exactly a needle but the thin long cathater) poking my uterus wall when the nurse was depositing the sperm from the syringe. I've had friends who have had the procedure done say they didn't feel anything, but I felt like she was scratching or poking my wall which caused a cramping sensation and I wonder if that would cause internal bleeding that would kill the sperm and not make the wall a good surface for the fertilized egg to attach to? Did you have a similar experience and then end up not having a successful cycle? I can't help but feel so concerned about this.

you could have a difficult cervix to penetrate and that's why it was more painful. I wouldn't worry about bleeding- it's very common to bleed after an IUI. Good luck!

TTC-
When I had my IUI it hurt. Most people say it was like a pap smear..Not me! My doc told me it was probably b/c I was ovulating at the time and the pressure was more intense. I dunno if that was right but sadly it didnt work. I am going for my 2nd in a couple of weeks and praying it doesnt hurt that bad again!! Good luck!
