Baby swing recommendations please

I need a recommendation for a good baby swing. We love our baby swing and use it regularly. I don't even know what kind it is as I got is used and there is no brand label on it- but I guess it is a "travel" swing and can hold up to 25 lbs. sized baby. (it is light green and blue and has Winnie the pooh characters on it)

The problem with it is that it seems to be getting slower (even when we put in fresh batteries) I think as ds gets bigger and heavier. He is like 3 and a 1/2 months and maybe 14 lbs I am guessing- maybe a few less lbs?
anyway- we may need to get a new swing so anyone know of any good ones that can still go fast with a heavier baby? ( I know ds isn't heavy but it used to go faster when he was lighter and smaller)
I don't need one that does all kinds of different motions- I would prefer one that just goes back and forth.- and that can hold up as he gets bigger.

Fisher Price makes a line of swings with canopies over them that have an A/C adaptor so you can pkug it in and don't have to use batteries. They're pricey, but I found one on CL and paid less than half price for it. I know you said you don't need fancmotions, but I don't think any other ones have A/C adaptors. As far as I know, the only one that's gender neutral is the Starlight one.

I got a pappasan/cradle swing that looks like a sheep from a garage sale for $15. It takes batteries, and I heard that swings suck up batteries, so I got a charger and 2 sets of the batteries so we have one charging and one in use. I figure, we can use the charger with other household items and toys later on. The swing's motor is strong enough to move my 20+lb 1 year old without any decrease in speed. The swing creaks a bit more, but it's still safe. I will be sad when I can no longer use it for naps.

My friend loaned me her AC adapter swing, but it wasn't great for naps; the seat was too upright, and my son would actively move around to get it to slow down more. I wasn't overly impressed with it.

I liked our Fisher Price rainforest swing bc it had a recline position for naps and you could plug it in instead of using batteries. We got it used and paid maybe $15.

We also got the rain forest swing used and it was great for a while, she's too big now. She liked the music and the toys hanging over it.

Fisher Price My Little Lamb Swing! It's so cozy and comfortable! It did slow down a little as DD got heavier, but I think most of them will. It has some extra things in there that we never used, but we loved it!!

I definitely recommend getting a swing that has an AC adapter, especially if you plan to have anymore children. We have the starlight papasan (fisher price) and it has been wonderful. It was about $150. But if you can find ANY swing with an ac adapter that is used, I'd go for it!

I know this is off-label but our housemate hacked our batteries-only papasan swing to make it plug-in-able and it took him about...half an hour? If you have any geek friends it is very doable.

We have a Graco Lovin Hug Swing, except ours is a different color/pattern and has vibration. It's nice because it holds babies up to 30 lbs. It has a timer, but can stay on constantly.

We use rechargeable batteries in it. Eneloop AA's inside D-size "spacers". Works great, no cords to worry about, and no eating single-use batteries.
