My *First Ever* Quilting Project... w/ photo link

I had many fabric pieces, from a fabric sample book. So I ripped them all out (3 books) and started sewing them together.

My intentions were to make a patchwork skirt... well, after sewing & sewing & SEWING I ended up with.....

So I decided to back it with some fleece that I had also... ended up with a blanket.. this is laying on my mothers King size bed....

I have to say, especially for my first ever time doing any sort of patch working, I AM IMPRESSED!

While I was creating this yesterday I swore (many times) off ever making any sort of patchwork again...
