Any knitters out there?

What are you going to knit for this wee one?
What patterns? Where did you find them?

I think I will try my hand at my first sweater... and maybe some longies. Otherwise the usual... Booties, baby socks, legwarmers.

Me! Me! I'm a knitter. I've already made a soaker, 2 pairs of longies, and most of a maternity sweater. This was all during ttc mode. I'm working on finishing up a matching hat for the smallest pair of longies and the sleeves of the sweater.

I'm planning to create a whole wardrobe of soakers and longies and shorties. It helps now that i know when I'm due because I was worried about too many longies for a spring baby.

I want to make some other clothes too, probably after I know the gender, but maybe I can make a little green sweater to start with.

I used to knit before dd was born. I do plan to make some stuff for this babe. Not sure what I'll make, but likely hats, booties, longies and maybe a sweater. We're not planning to find out the sex this time, so I'll be choosing gn colors.

I love that sweater shoefairy3!!

Gaaaaa... too all the above... I've got some knitting to do.

I was just thinking about knitting something for the new baby while I was doing the dishes a few minutes ago.

I don't know what I want to knit. Since I'm not getting an ultrasound this time, I'll have to keep things gender neutral. I love how most of Amanda Soule's knit stuff is earthy colors that would go for either sex - lots of creams, browns, and tans. I thought it would be a fun way to let my husband know we're pregnant. You know, knitting a little baby vest or sweater and then wrapping it up for him.

I'm a knitter! I don't know what I'll knit this time. I didn't knit much for Fynn because he was a summer baby but a baby born in March will need all sorts of warmer stuff.....

I knew about Ravelry, but I never visited the site. Wow- I'm going crazy over there! Someone knitted a pair of these http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...n-baby-booties for me from my DDC last time I was pg. I want to make a few more pairs- my daughter lived in them.

Also making this http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...y-yoda-sweater

It's first on my list!

I should make it next. I have tons of worsted yarn.

I knit, but am in the middle of a project for a friend.

I didn't knit until my son was maybe 6 months, so I'm excited to make itty bitty things.

I think I'll do some longies and sweaters and hats. I love hats, but luckily so does my son.

He needs a new winter hat and the one he wore the last two winters will get passed down. It should fit this little one for two winters, as well.

I always have good inentions on making mittens for my kids, but then I never get around to it

This is making me want to update my ravelry queue. I am trying to work on a pooling shawl for myself as well, so I'm starting feel pulled in a lot of different knitting directions. I spin too, and I want to make at least one special something out of hand-spun yarn. I think I'm going to make something with some gorgeous white Cormo fleece I have and maybe just keep it white...a little bonnet or something.

this is the bonnet I want to make

I just need to remember to put the book on hold at the library again
