slow weight gain in EP baby

I exclusively pump for my 10 week old. I have NO trouble with supply, infact I make almost double her requirements!

She drinks around 3oz every 3hrs or so. I cannot get her to drink more, even getting her to drink 3oz is a challenge.

She is healthy and bright eye'd and meeting her milestones.

She gains so slowly - the last two weeks she has only gained 3.5oz per week.

Should I be concerned? My ped told me I should drop one of the bottles of breastmilk and replace it with formula- but that makes no sense since formula is lower in fat AND calories right?!

Is there anyway I can change my diet to make my breastmilk more calorific? Ive heard about eating nuts/olive oil etc but then I also read that there is very little you can do to change the composition of breastmilk and every womans milk is basically the same.

I feel like Im failing her... I EP'd for my son and he would gain 2lbs a month, poor Molly barely gains 1

You're doing fantastically to pump that much milk for your LO! It must take incredible dedication to EP.
According to kellymom.com, the amount of fat in mom's diet doesn't affect the fat or calories in her milk, unfortunately.
But given that you're making so much more than she needs, could you skim the fat off the extra milk and add it to her bottles?
Just a thought.

Is she falling off her curve? http://www.who.int/childgrowth/stand...irls_p_0_6.pdf

If she is, and because you make 'extra' milk, maybe you could skim the fat of the 'extra' milk and add it to the milk you feed her?

If she isn't falling off her curve then I wouldn't worry

ETA: I see Megan had the same idea!
