DS is 6 weeks, EBF ... Dad's recent blood tests show he's allergic to whey and casein (and eggs, peanuts, almonds ...).

As a single new mom with blood sugar issues, soy problems, and a budget, dairy has been a huge source of protein for me. I cut back for his sake and am not sure if I need to cut back more, or if we're OK.

Some days his burps are totally dry, some days are floods of spit up. No other issues, except the curiosity of super stinky farts.

How might I tell whether his spit up is tied to my dairy consumption, aside from complicated tracking that I don't have time for? Is there a typical time window (i.e. when I have a glass of milk or a shake with yogurt, make a mental note to watch what happens in 8-12 hours)?
