39 weeks, how much EPO?

I FINALLY got around to picking up some EPO and am wondering how much I should take. ( I see my MW tomorrow so I will double check but I just can't remember). Right now I am taking one capsule (1000 mg) 3x a day and inserting 2 vaginally at night. Does that sound right?

That's what I've been doing, except I only put in one at a time at night. If (hah! yeah right IF) I get up to pee I'll add another at that point.

I took 1 orally two or three times a day and inserted one (after pricking it with a pin) at night. smooth labors both times

my cnm (very clinical) refuses to discuss alternatives like this. Is EPO pretty safe if you have had a normal healthy pregnancy?
