And sunning barely touched the stains. I had 9 dipes out in the sun today because they just had dark, dark gray stains on them. The sun barely made a difference. A few of the dipes were older and already pretty beat up, but one of them was brand new, and the first time he wore it he pooed in it, and it stained.
What can I do to get these stains out and keep them out? We've discussed diaper liners, which is a pain, but would help both with the detritus in the washing machine and the stains (I would hope)... but until they get here and for the dipes already stained, what's the solution? Some of his poos have been down-right black, so I'm not surprised they're staining.
The 9 from today went into an Oxyclean soak and are still in the machine because after that soak I've already rinsed them 4 times and still getting suds.
So I don't know how much that helped, but I've got to get to bed soon.
