DDCC - I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow so I've been checking this thread frequently to see if intelligender was right for y'all. I'm excited to see the results coming in!

According to the Chinese gender chart (doing all the proper conversions), all of my kids (3 boys) thus far should have been girls. For this little peanut, the Chinese chart said girl again, so I was really hoping it would be accurate this time, lol. Intelligender said boy. In sunlight, BestBaby said boy, indoor lighting said girl. Had my ultrasound and, like the last three, the tech didn't even need to tell me she was looking in that area, let alone what it was. I could clearly see our little BOY'S parts right on the screen!

I was obviously hoping for a girl this time, but we are SO happy that he looks healthy, and of course he just looked cute as a button wiggling around in there! We're already in love with our 4th little boy, and my husband is ecstatic, lol!

Sorry ladies.... I was on vacation all last week camping in the Ozarks with DH minus the twins (they had a week of spoiling at the grandparent's house).

After 2 3D ultrasounds (the first was a bust because #3 had its hand covering its crotch the entire time...) the verdict is BOY!!!!

Intelligender was right for us! I'm so excited our last baby will be a boy! My twin girls are going to love having a baby brother!

Hey, Everyone! I'm back from a mini vacation and so happy to see so many results come in! Even happier to see everyone so happy with their u/s results!

So far, Intelligender is actually right on target for what they advertise, which is 80% accuracy! And they also say girl results are more accurate than boy results, which I suppose is a little hard to judge seeing as how I'm the ONLY one who actually got a girl result!

Who's next to find out their baby's sex?

did any of you feel like intelligender was a little ambiguous? I went ahead and took it for kicks and giggles since I'm not planning on finding out at my ultrasound in a few weeks and following the directions exactly I had it sitting on the white paper and the results looked yellow but I saw all this powder still floating on the top. I thought well maybe I didn't give it a full 10 seconds of twirling and I gave it one more twirl and the results turned green. Then when I would look at it against the backsplash of my counter it still looked green and when I looked at it from the backsplash it looked yellow. Hubby thought green so I guess I'll go with boy. Just really confusing!

Hi Echo,
There were definitely crystals in my test that never dissolved, and they told me that was normal. Did you wait the allotted time and then view the results at eye level? If it looked yellowish at eye level after the allotted time, then I would say it's a girl result. (The results are no longer valid if you mix/swirl it after the initial 10 seconds, because remixing will turn it green either way.)

You could probably contact them and tell them you had ambiguous results, as I've heard they'll send you a replacement test. They'll also interpret the results for you if you take a picture and send it to them. Worth a try at least, right?

I would contact the company. Ours turned dark olive green after the first few minutes and stayed dark green. There were a few crystals that never dissolved, the the overall color of the liquid never changed.

Based on your description, this would be a girl result. The sediment, though it's not a part of your result, can often have a misleading affect (making the test appear greenish at different angles). It's only caused when a test isn't swirled rapidly enough but can be disregarded. The only thing that matters is the urine color. Please let me know if this answered your question and again when you confirm!

Personally, I liked Intelligender because they could at least tell me what the success rate of the test is. (And they could tell me success rates for home users and lab tests, lab test results being slightly better than home test results.) And so far, according to our own little study, the success rate of the results is spot on to what the company said! Best Baby seems like a newer company and they don't offer a lot of information, plus our own DDC mates haven't had the best experiences with that test. So I'd definitely trust the Intelligender more than the Best Baby. (That's just me, though!)

Echo, let me know if you're going to retake the Intelligender test, or if you want me to post your current result (and what you're reading it as). I know you're hoping for a boy, and I've got my fingers crossed for you!

ETA - Oops! Scratch that last part about retesting. I saw your post on my Blackberry and the quote from Intelligender didn't show up in my email notification, so I didn't even see it until just now! I'll mark you as a girl result, and still keep my fingers crossed for your boy!
