Prefold "Socks"?

Has anyone used these? I found this one:

I would really prefer fleece but I was wondering if anyone use these in a wrap style cover.... I was thinking it might work well for overnight?

Weehuggers (on Blueberry's site) also has a sock, and it's actually intended for use in a wrap style cover. And it's fleece!

Cool! Thank you for the link I will keep checking for when they restock them!! We need a new night time diaper and I was thinking just those in a cover would be the most economical option since we could just stuff our current PFs and doublers and such in them.

I bought three of the CB's brand to try stuffing with Super Do inserts inside a Flip cover. I haven't tied them yet, because the first time I used my Super Do, it leaked. So I am scared to try cloth at night again. I have only one sposie left, and then I will have to!

This is totally unrelated but we have Super Dos... and we have issues with them leaking because they are so bulky between the legs that it makes our diapers gap!! I would think that would be less of an issue with a cover as opposed to in a pocket how we use them...

Oh, great. I heard they were so fabulous, like the magical heavy wetter nighttime solution. I have been doing one sposie at night, cloth all day. I have one sposie left for tonight, and then I was planning to try a Super Do in the Cotton Babies insert sock. If not, I guess two Flip stay dry inserts back to back. Man, I had high hopes for those Super Dos. When I do nighttime changes, my DD gets SO UPSET and cannot go back to sleep. So I need something to last all night. So...after investing (Super Dos are NOT cheap) in the inserts, I bought the CB socks to put them in.

Sigh.

I would definitely TRY it!! I think our Super Dos would work much better in a cover than in a pocket. I am actually hoping to get some socks so I can try the Super Dos in them... I have found most of my covers are cut wider through the crotch than my pockets are.

Well, I know the large Super Do fits in the CB insert sock really well. And the large Super Do fits in the Flip cover on the largest setting (fully open). Normally DD wears the Flip on the middle rise, but with a Super Do, it's open all the way.

We'll see tomorrow night...

Let me know how it goes!!!!! If it works well maybe I will get a flip cover to try...

I use the stay dry pouches in a wrap for night. It's the only thing that works for us! I stuff mine with a "trifolded" LL flat.
I got mine from Rainshine Designs- she can do them in fleece, suedecloth, or procool (athletic wicking jersey) which is what I got.

It worked!!! She wore a large Super Do inside a Cotton Babies insert sock, inside a Flip cover, opened to the tallest rise (she normally is on the middle rise with just a single Flip insert.) She wore it for TWELVE hours. Granted, the sock was a bit damp, and the Super Do was really soaked. But NO LEAKS.

p.s. she is almost 13 months and still nurses at night, maybe 3-5 (or more) times, depending.

ETA I think the key to the Super Dos is washing them quite a few times first, even though they say they're ready to use right away...they're really not.

Yeah, I definitely had to prep my super dos a few times before they really started working well... now my only issue with them is that they don't wash as easily as everything else I have!! Glad the socks worked well though, I have ordered a few to try out!!

Yes, they worked great. Much better than trying to lay a piece of fleece over the insert, IMO. Just nice and easy to stuff the sock. My DH actually put the dipe on her, so it's that easy.

Woot!! This is what I wanted to hear I need DH to be able to put night time diapers on!

The second night of our Super-Do/sock combo resulted in a completely soaked sleeper. I am getting to the end of my rope with CDing at night. I also tried two regular BG inserts inside the sock with no leaks. However, the very next night (when my insert socks were dirty) I tried two Flip inserts back to back (long length, fully open Flip cover) and she leaked in 10 minutes!! So I folded the Flip inserts down a bit and snapped it to the middle rise. After two hours, it leaked up her belly and got the zipper of her sleeper wet (weird?) She was asleep and it wasn't too wet, so I just left it alone. Her sleeper dried out around the zipper, but at about 5-6am, when her sleeper was wet again all over the bum.

I am so sick of trying new combos and buying new stuff. This is getting expensive. I ordered three more Super Dos and CB insert socks after two days of no leaks, and now I have leaks again. I feel like I am wasting my money. But I guess sposies are expensive, too. But they WORKED. Sigh.

The worst part about it is that my husband believes this whole problem can go away by running out for a pack of sposies. Maybe so. But I was so hoping to get cloth dipes that WORK at night. I just don't want to pay hundred of dollars to try every option out there. Boo.

I feel your pain dude... here is our night time combo that is a bit cumbersome and stupid looking but it works!! A pocket diaper (usually a FB) or a fitted stuffed with a MF/hemp/MF and then a PUL cover (if it is a fitted) and THEN a dancing bears night time weight fleece cover over the top. Would work well with wool too but we can't do wool here.

Do you FB have suede-cloth lining, or fleece?

I'm trying to find any workable combo with the dipes I already own. I have:
--a lot of BG 3.0s with suede-cloth lining & six with fleece ("limited edition") lining
--Flip covers & stay-dry inserts
--one BG AIO
--yellow edge GMD prefolds
--5 Super Dos
--5 Cotton Babies insert socks

Tonight she is wearing the BG AIO stuffed with an additional regular BG insert. So, we'll see.

Becky - are these on the Rainshine site, or did you ask her to do them custom? I don't see them on the site, but they're a marvelous idea, and I really like this WAHM (have bought from her before).

I didn't see them on the site either but I just shot her an email and she mailed them out like 2 days later! Even for shipping to the US she only charged me 3 dollars since they fit in a regular mailing envelope

We do fleece lined pockets... my kids can't do the BG suede cloth for some reason. Ok... here is what I would try with what you have... an insert sock, stuffed with 2 MF inserts (assuming you have these from the BGs?) and a yellow edged GMD PF... with a FLIP cover over it (or the MF/PF stuffed in a BG pocket) then go to Old Navy or whatever and get a pair of fleece pants (or better yet a fleece one piece of some sort) and put that over everything....
