ABC NEWs poll on home page for spanking

It is in response to the GMA story about a generational divide on spanking. The question is you believe in spanking children? And over 900 say yes, only 150 or so say no so far...Its on the right hand side about half way down.

I saw that story this morning. I'm glad they had a psychologist on there that explained that small children(2-3 or so) are impulsive and spanking for say running in the street isn't going to stop their impulsiveness.

My parents are like this. They don't understand why I won't spank. I told them that if my son's day care can keep 10 kids for each teacher in line with not so much as a time out (and never ever spanking), then I can keep one in line without laying a hand on him.
