No period still?

Hi mamas! I have an 11 month old little girl, who I stopped breastfeeding at 6 months. That was in January. I took the Depo shot and then another depo shot in April. I was due for another shot June 24th, but made the decision to just go back on the pill about 2 weeks prior to my shot being due.

I just finished the first pack of pills and am on my sugar row, which I am not taking. I am due to start taking them again next Monday. I am now on day 3 of the sugar row and still no period? I did not have a period on the shot, but resumed my period at 6 weeks post partum, eventhough I was exclusively breastfeeding. Does this sound at all normal? I have always had a period on the pill and was waiting for it to resume. We want to start trying in the nearish future, so I wanted to start temping but I can't really temp without a period, can I?

I mean I overlapped the depo and the pill (which my midwives recommended) could I still possibly be pregnant?

It is of course POSSIBLE you are pregnant (I'm assuming if you are worried about you have been having sex )

I would say it is more probable that the depo shot is messing with your hormones. Have you ever taken that shot before? Some women have to jumpstart their period for awhile after taking the depo.....

Do you have a cheap test you can pee on?

I'll second that it could definately be the depo. It a friend of mine a whole year to get her period back after stopping the shot

Yeah, I was thinking it might be the shot too. I could take a test, but I have none on hand so I will stop at family dollar before work today.

I took the shot in highschool and when I got off, did not have a period for almost 3 months, my GYN put me on the pill and one cycle it was back. I think I might take one more cycle of BCP's and see what happens or I could chart to see whats going on. I have until Monday to decide. I will update you all about the PG test later.

Still no period, negative on the PG TEST. So I think after some discussion with DP. We are going to temp and see whats happening.
