What is your favourite Self-Help/ Inspirational book....

that has made some sort of impact in your life? I really enjoy them although I don't always put them into practice... I tend to pick them up and get motivated short term... the one I can think of that has made a difference in my life is Peter Walsh's "It's all too much: An easy plan for living a richer life with less stuff"... Although my home is not completely organized and clutter free, this book has given me a totally different outlook on why we have the things we do and has helped me to much better part with items I own that I do not longer need...

what is your book that has helped changed your life?

http://www.amazon.com/Unconditional-.../dp/0743487478 (Yes. As in Self-Help / Inspiration as opposed to a narrower parenting category. This is a phenomenal book to use in examining your own life.)

How to Simplify Your Life by Elaine St. James and Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend.

Still working on putting into practice the things I have learned from these books.

Currently?

Radical Self Acceptance by Tara Brach. I'm not particularly into the Buddhist scene but I've found this book to be solidly accurate and supportive for me right now. It's just what I need.

Freeing Your Child From Negative Thinking by Tamar Chansky. I was reading this to see if I can help my son. But it's been much more helpful for me and frankly it got me on the path that led to reading the radical acceptance book.

MDC moms are a thoughtful bunch, huh?
