The solid transition...

Well....we started EC at 3 months, and did great until 9 months. We've always been part timers going after eating and naps, but he would generally go any other random time that I would offer.

Until we started solid foods.

I've been doing baby led solids and letting him try finger foods when he started getting interested. We mostly just do vegetables and fruits. When he turned 9 months, he started eating substantially more foods, and his patterns started changing. I haven't been able to catch much of anything since then. It's been 3ish weeks, and I'm starting to feel like we've lost it.

Does anyone have EC tips for babies transitioning to solid foods?

I don't remember anything changing when we started solids, other than finding out, "Oh, I guess she DID eat that olive" kind of thing. Sometimes, as I'm sure you know, there are just pauses and blips along the way. Have you tried offering based on just plain timing, since the patterns you were used to seem to have changed? I definitely had times on our journey where the only catches were just right after naps or just right after taking her out of the Ergo, and that was it. Other times where we caught almost everything. You'll get back in the groove, for sure! Sometimes I would wear my baby a little more often than usual to help us get back in synch.
