Disposables for a week.... - Page 2

What about G diapers? I've never used them but there are disposable inserts, no? At least there would be less to dispose of.

I think I'll try the 7th generation.....I'll still use my own wipes, they are so easy tomake...and why mess with a good thing? Thanks to everyone! I appreciate the input!

I wanted to like 7th gen, but DS got a rash and leaked majorly every time we tried. He got a nasty rash from Tushies--the really nice gel-free diapers. He got a rash from the 365 unbleached diapers (WFM house brand).

He can use Target sposies. Weird, I know. Family Dollar house brand = rash. We can't go near Pampers because they contain fragrance and aloe and it's important that mommy not need her epi-pen during a diaper change. We occasionally used huggies in the early days, but as he got older, he got rashier with them.

So when we camp, we use Target sposies. We camp in humid summer months, with moist nights. Flats *might* dry, but not quickly.

DD wore the cheap store brand diapers... but any time we tried to put a Pampers on her (such as if we got them as a gift or whatever) she would break out into a rash... somehow the cheap store brand were better (I always avoided the plastic ones though and got hte ones that felt more like cloth on the outside)
