Chicken Pox vax while bf'ing?

Would you do it? I am an older mom and have no immunity to chicken pox, recently there have been some outbreaks where I live and the last thing I want is to get it now.

Id be more concerned about exposing your baby to chicken pox then you having to deal with the illness. Any disease can be difficult for small babies. So the best bet is to keep both of you from being exposed until the baby is older. You can't protect your baby by vaccinating yourself. Your baby will be at greater risk of catching chicken pox if you get vaccinated. the vaccine is live and sheds for up to 6 weeks, and the live virus will come through your breastmilk.
