Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing the same issue at about this time. I drink Mother's Milk every night before bed but my supply just seems lower. I have been feeding solids here and there but very small amounts and not every day. Should I continue to give DS a slice of frozen banana(for example) at night or should I discontinue it and focus more on nursing? Thanks!

I was going to ask the same question.
My breasts did settle down a lot around 6-8 months, and now it takes a lot (8-12 hours of no nursing) for a breast to feel full.
It is obvious from the many diaper changes and the constant growth that my ds is getting enough. I do give him some solids, and he sometimes acts ravenous about food, but he still nurses plenty. When he gets distracted and pops off, milk goes everywhere, so it's still there!

Is there something else that's making you think your baby isn't getting enough?

It's very normal for breasts to not feel "full" anymore once your milk supply is well established. It's also very normal for baby's weight gain to slow drastically after around 6 months of age.

It sounds to me like you are doing just fine!
