Correlation between Eczema and reflux?

I thought this might be the board to ask this question as I believe both are due to an allergy/intolerance to something.

But, I have noticed that DS will get an Eczema flare on days that he is spitting up more or having more reflux. At least I think that it is happening.

Has anyone else had this same experience? I wonder if he is having a reaction to something that I ate (I'm already GF,DF,SF).

Thanks!

Yes, those can both be symptoms of a food allergy/intolerance. Are you keeping a food journal? That's the easiest way to figure out the trigger, especially if it's just happening sometimes (as opposed to every day.)

Yes, absolutely the two can go hand in hand if they are related to food sensativities. My son did that.....bad reflux and eczema flare up when I would accidently ingest dairy or soy, eggs and corn. He has a ton of triggers, but as soon as we figured them out and eliminated them both symptoms went away.

Definitely keep a food journal if it's just happening occasionally.

Thank you for the responses. I have a feeling it was a corn reaction. I don't normally have corn, but I had popcorn the night before I saw a reaction. I wish I knew for sure what his triggers were as for now I'm just about avoiding everything! I sure would love to just eat anything I wanted!
