I've taken Thorne basic nutrients 3, b/c it has very bioavailable vites that I was looking for (specifically folate and the b's, along w/ various minerals) and its copper and iron free--I feel I need more zinc (and don't want the copper to cancel it out--they need to be balanced) and I get sick taking iron supps (and certainly get enough from my food.) It is also allergen free which I liked a lot.
BUT, IDK. It's a tough issue. I don't know that I felt any better taking it than I did not. I'm continually working on doing things w/ diet as that always impacts me positively. I've taken the thorne off and on and would recommend it to others. But I think I'm still dealing w/ deficiency issues so that's why I like taking a multi at times.
I do feel the more I can add diet wise the better I feel no matter what.
HTH! Oh and I'm not pg or TTC, just fyi.
Just to update, I've recently been able to eat CO w/ no headaches, and eggs mixed in other stuff (baked goods, etc) w/ no problems, which means I'm doing better detox/sulfation pathway stuff I think. Maybe I'll give the nettles another go....
