Crazy slow!

Are any other knitters or other WAHM's too experiencing a bigger than normal summer slow down?? I have never been this slow in my 7 years of knitting. What are you doing to combat the summer slow down?

I'm slow over the summer just by the nature of my business. Seems like everyone wants a breather after tax season. I'm working on marketing and planning for the fall. Just found out I'm teaching a course at the local college!

It always slows down in summer for me. I make patterns & prototypes for apparel manufacturers so work for the next Fall market doesn't start again until September. After 15 years, I look forward to having time to work on other projects before it gets crazy. The closer it gets to the new year, the worse it gets.

My summer's been slower too Mizzy. I'm hoping a sale will help drum up business. I've also been seeking out places that do free raffles/etc so I can at least get my name/product out there. Of course my stuff isn't hand-made so its a lot less expensive to just give away.

P.S. Once I find out the sex of this kiddo I might be hitting you up! We've got two boy longies from you, but if its a girl I want skirties baaaaad!
