Varicose veins...ugh...natural treatments?

I was in an accident with a bike a while ago and hit my leg, just below my knee. I noticed after that time that I had a blue vein closer to the surface that never went away. Now, for the first time (that was 15 yrs ago) it's starting to ache...it's not popping out, but visible because of its color. I'm at a loss - never dealt with this before.

Any natural treatments for these before it gets worse?

It is meant to reduce the size and swelling of the varicosities. I've used it before, and found it quite helpful. YMMV.
