Putting together a natural 'first aid kit'?

Thread Starter
Now that DS is walking I want to put together a 'natural' first aid kit for bumps, bruises, scratches, scrapes, cuts, bites, etc and anything else the could possibly happen. What are some things that I should be looking at?

Thanks in advance!

Arnica for topical application to bumps, bruises and sprains.

Calendula cream for topical application. This works great on sunburn and skin irritations.

It's not exactly "natural", but Tecnu to wash your skin and/or clothes after a possible brush with poison ivy/oak. Also helps after the fact, but prevents the reaction when used immediately.

I remember posting this exact question when my little one was just getting around. She is almost 6 now. Although some of my kit is not 'natural' I'll list it anyway since as time goes by we tend to use some products that we know work whether they are natural or not.

Arnica cream
neosporin
Gold Bond itch cream
ear drops (garlic and muellin oil)
hand sanitizer
tea tree oil (? just added this and am still not quite sure what to do with it)
Bacteen (I deem most important)
bandaids
child size premeasured benadryl
homeopathic camilla & viborcol
scissors
bandages
burts bees poison ivy soap
baby orajel
tylenol (for me)
tampons (for me)

and I also bought one of those heavy duty kits from the medical store to put in the 4x4 since we go camping a lot. It has things for bee stings and large burns etc.....

If I think of anything else I'll post it.

We have a boatload of stuff, but what we use most often is:

topically:
-this therawise cream: http://well.ca/products/therawise-sh...ent_10849.html (cuts, scrapes)
-aloe (burns, random irritations)
-arnica (bruises)

orally:
-hylands teething tabs
-children's advil (used to use motrin, but that all got recalled. we use this as sparingly as possible for teething, and never for fever reduction)
-homeopathic coffea (dd is a CRAPPY sleeper)
-homeopathic arnica or traumeel (big tumbles down the stairs, etc)
-sambu elderberry syrup (we used to use Eldertussin for kids, but can't get it anymore. for colds/flus)
-echinacea tincture (colds/flus, infections)

We also have a random collection of bandaids and a kid friendly ice pack (it's a horse, with an ice pack in its belly, and even then, we can rarely convince dd to use it)
That pretty much covers it. I do use essential oils - in the bath to calm (lavendar) or to clear congestion (e something?! eee, I'm so sleep deprived right now, the name escapes me). Tea tree we use mostly for cleaning, but also have some in a little spray bottle with lavendar and water for cleaning out wounds, etc.
I also dose with extra vit c in times of illness or potential infection, and add vit e when skin needs extra help rebuilding (big cuts, etc). DD also gets probiotics, fish oil and D3 daily, and monthly chiropractic adjustments, which I think help keep illness at bay and speed healing.
