I haven't made the switch yet...but I would like to soon. There are so many types, I don't know where to start. I do not have the time to make my own. What are the best brands that have wings? Prefer organic or bamboo material. PLEASE HELP

There are so many makers of these, many of whom are WAHM which is great to support! I recommend to only try one or two from a place just to make sure they suit you before investing a lot. For example I found that stains bother me, so lately I've been looking into stain-resistant fabrics. Also you may find that you like certain sizes or shapes better than others.

A favourite is mine is Homestead Emporium and just today I got some pads from Tree Hugger to try. Both mamas have been super-nice in my experience when I emailed them to help me figure out what to order. HE does a lot of work with custom-dyed bamboo velour in gorgeous patterns. She's having a co-op on her Facebook page right now which gets you lower prices. TreeHugger also does bamboo velour but many of her products have minky fabric too (this is the one I'm trying as it's supposed to not stain). Both are gorgeous IMO.

I have some from treehugger, and I am in love with them. Only reason I haven't bought more is because I keep convincing myself that it's not worth it if I'm pregnant this month.

I do have one stain on my lighter colored minkee, but I think it's because I left it way too long before throwing it in the wash and it had time to really set. But they are all still soft, they fit my underwear perfectly, they seem less bulky than storebought pads, and I'm also very much in agreement with others that there's no smell anymore! You grow up assuming that it's your flow that causes all the not so fun smell, but once I switched to cloth, you realize that that's all chemicals from pads and such. Gross.
