There are so many makers of these, many of whom are WAHM which is great to support! I recommend to only try one or two from a place just to make sure they suit you before investing a lot. For example I found that stains bother me, so lately I've been looking into stain-resistant fabrics. Also you may find that you like certain sizes or shapes better than others.
A favourite is mine is
Homestead Emporium and just today I got some pads from
Tree Hugger to try. Both mamas have been super-nice in my experience when I emailed them to help me figure out what to order. HE does a lot of work with custom-dyed bamboo velour in gorgeous patterns. She's having a co-op on her Facebook page right now which gets you lower prices. TreeHugger also does bamboo velour but many of her products have minky fabric too (this is the one I'm trying as it's supposed to not stain). Both are gorgeous IMO.
