PABA in prenatal/breastfeeding vitamins

If PABA increases the risk for cancer, why is it in our vitamins?
I just heard about this from all the sunblock news and saw it as an ingredient on my vitamin bottle.
Does anyone know anything about this?
Not sure where to post this, but cant find into on it and figure some of you are taking prenatals while breastfeeding.

As far as I know, PABA is a naturally occuring substance (not really a "vitamin") that is found in spinach, mushrooms, molasses, whole grains, and brewers yeast. It has been explained to me that the concern is more allergies to it than toxicity.
(For example I guess, growing up the *warning* on pop cans that said Phenylketonurics: contains Phenylalanine. I always thought this was about artificial sugars but its for people sensitive/allergic to phenylalanine, which is just an amino acid.)
It seems people take it for skin conditions. If in doubt, take a prenatal that has good backing and research like "megafoods" brand or "new chapter", I took bith while pregnant and afterwards also.
