Anyone want to start a clothes and make-up tribe?

I like clothes, I like make-up. I like shopping for clothes and make-up.
I think I'm probably on the less crunchy side of the continuum here on MDC but that's OK with me. I really love it when there are discussions on TOA centered around clothing but I don't visit other fashion or make-up-centric discussion sites so I thought I'd start one here since I love everyone here already.
How about summer fashions, what are you liking, disliking? Challenges?
Makeup? Heard about any new stuff lately? What's in your makeup bag? What's in your routine? I had stopped putting on m/u for a long time after having DS1 but four years later, have recently got back into the swing of it. I enjoy it. It's like a meditation for me in the morning to play in my make-up case.

I'll join! I actually haven't really bought any new clothes or makeup in a while because we're trying to save $, plus I really need some help with shopping for clothes b/c I am terrible and coordinating things lol. But I love looking at makeup online!! When I was pregnant I got into it for some reason lol. I don't wear it often, but I still love looking for good and healthy makeup.

Speaking of healthy make-up, what is up w/Bare Minerals? They tout themselves as being so good for your skin but when I tried on some @ Ulta, it looked awful so I don't care how good it's health benefits are. But anyway, isn't it just zinc/titanium, which really isn't good for you?

Was shopping @Bloomingdale's the other day and really wanted to buy this simple tank-top that was made of grey jersey w/ black ribbons criss-crossing it all over. Simple idea, but $145!! if I had some good sewing skills and arts/crafts knack I could have made that myself! But anyway, too many sleeveless top out there this summer. Not good for me as I'm arm-self-conscious.

I've moved this to Natural Body care, I think you might find more members for your tribe here.
