If I hadn't been charting/paying attention to EVERYTHING re: TTC, I would have definitely missed at least the first month with this pregnancy. I started spotting the day I was expecting my period and, although it was light, it was on and off for several days. Actually, because of that, I almost didn't test that month at all.
I know of 2 people that didn't know they were pregnant until they were actually in labor. One responded to a 'how could these women be SO stupid??' thread on another board with "It happened to me, and I'm not stupid, so yeah, it happens!". She's not only heavy, but fairly tall, so she never had much of a bump. She just went to the hospital one night with severe stomach pains....and came home with a baby.
The other was a friend of DP's in college. It's funny because when he first described her to me (and I don't remember why he was describing her body type), he said "She's one of those girls who has really skinny, muscular legs, but carries more weight in her mid-section". Three months later, she delivered a baby.
(DP & several of his friends did mention that they suspected she'd had an idea she was pregnant, but was in denial. Who knows)
