I wanted to find out if anyone else had a similar experience to mine. When my ds was born he had all the typical vaccinations up 18 mo. old. I didn't know much about them and unfortunately trusted the doctors. After he started to walk, we would notice on occasion, maybe 4-5 times he would just refuse to walk, out of the blue. We thought his leg was hurt somewhere, but the episodes only lasted from a few minutes to 30 minutes and then he would be fine. I really can't remember the time frame if it lined up with when he got the vaccines, but of course he got a lot of vaccines by 18 mo. old. When he was around 2 1/2 he had an episode for the first time that lasted all day and into the next day. He refused to walk and would cry if we tried to help him walk. We went to the emergency room, that same day, then the peds office the next day, then on to special testing, then a neuroligist a month later. While we were at the peds office we and the doctors noticed his walking was a neurological issue, it was not pain in his legs or feet. It was like his equilibrium was totally messed up, he wouldn't walk because he couldn't, he just couldn't verbalize what was going on. It was like he was drunk, he was stepping on himself and dizzy acting. They ran all sorts of tests and found nothing, could explain nothing to us and sent us home. He improved by the end of the second day and of course by the time we could see the neuroligist a month later he was symptom free. They never told us what happened, he hasn't done it since, but we stopped the shots at 18 mo. and he has not received another one. Later once he started to talk we found out he stutters. He is now 4 yrs. and 4 months and has seen a speech therapist who says the amount of stuttering can be normal for some kids. To give it 6 mo. and come back if he is still doing it. He gets better and then stutters again, sometimes really bad. We do all they have told us to do and it doesn't seem to bother him, but I am wondering if any of this is linked to the vaccines and possible delayed reactions to them. I know there is no way to prove any of it, but I was wondering if any other mom's have had similar experiences. Also how on earth do you detox a child after he's had vaccines. I've studied so much in the last few years, but not sure where to look for specific detox for the vaccines he's had.

Vaccine reaction?

I have a friend whose son was experiencing seizures. They did the same ER, doctor, specialist, neuro testing and nothing came up...and then she started to realize that the seizures were happening within 2-3 weeks after every vaccination. They would happen less and less as the months passed, but start all over again with another vaccine. She stopped vaxing him when he was 18 months, as well.
I would advise you to seek out some homeopathic/naturopathic doctors for help on detoxing vaccines. Most of the vaccines have neuro-toxins in them...which is probably what affected your son. It will probably require a change in diet, in addition to supplements.
I hope you find the help you need.

I've never had that experiences with vaxes, so I'm afraid that I'm of no help there.
I know it's obvious, but did they check your son's ears? Does he have ear problems, like chronic ear infections? That would be my first guess for equilibrium problems. I used to stutter when I was young, too. It turns out it was because there was a lot of stress in my household. My parents were not happy in their marriage at that time and I had an infant brother. My mom was doing it all on her own and she asked too much from me. Once she made it a point to treat me like a child again and be purposefully cheerful around my dad, my stuttering stopped. I guess I was just a sensitive kid and internalized the tension in the air.
I know that may not be the answer for you, but I thought I'd throw it out there, just in case it helps. My cousin has a disorder that gives her vertigo. If you're interested I could try to find out the name of it for you...

He's not had anymore problems with the equilibrium since I've stopped the shots. He's never had an ear infection and never had any problems with his ears so that is pretty much ruled out. As far as the stuttering my DH and I get along pretty well, I would say most of the time and when there is tension, we don't ever yell or get silly about it, the worst maybe it's just quiet between us, until we find time to talk it out, and that we usually don't do in front of the kids. I would never say we have a perfect marriage, but then who does. I think my kids are pretty happy and well taken care of by both of us so I don't think the stuttering is from anything like that. They did evaluate him and say that some stuttering is normal for his age, but I've not been around a lot of kids that do it so I just wondered where it comes from. I'm not really too concerned at this point and it doesn't seem to bother him at all, we are all pretty laid back about it. I would like to find ways of getting as much of the toxins out of his system as I can just because of all the shots he did get. We have a really good friend who has MS now and it is scary to think of what vaccinated kids could be facing years from now if it proves the vaccines weren't as safe as they said they were. Plus all the stuff that is now in foods and sprayed on fruits and veggies. Thanks for your help.

My son is 3 1/2 and still does the "and, and, and, and, and, and, and" thing. So, if that is what you are talking about, yes, I think it's totally normal. I just wait for him to spit out what he's wanting to say. My DD did this, as well...it stopped around age 4 1/2 - 5 (completely) for her.
Sometimes, when the kids are excited and they do this, I just encourage them to take a deep breath and continue.
Hope all is well with your little guy!!
