I talked to my friend today who has been having very odd symptoms after she had a lymph nodes drained this Monday. She said right after the procedure, she felt like she drank 12 cups of coffee. She hasn't been able to sleep a night since (her doctor even prescribed Ambien which didn't work). She feels like she is in a daze and can't think straight - she feels like she is going crazy. It is additionally stressful because she has 2 young boys to take care of.
Are these symptoms related to getting her lymph drained? Any idea why or what she can do about it? She also has a chronic liver disease, but the symptoms described above happened hours after getting her lymph drained.
