Let me preface this by saying we have a doctor's appointment on Monday morning, so I will ask then, but I am wondering if anyone has a guess about this. I mostly wondering because I am pregnant, and I wanted to see if I should worry

First, my daughter does get hives from strawberry and pineapple, I give her claritin and the hives have always gone away. Well, maybe 6 months ago, she got a small cold/sniffles and broke out in hives after wards. I gave her no meds or anything, so it was either food or from the cold. I took her to the doctor because they were spreading and she said it was pityriasis rosea and it would take 12 weeks to go away, but take antihistamine if she seemed uncomfortable. Well, I did when we got home and the rash went away within 30 minutes. So my best guess was that it was just plain hives, maybe from something she ate. I called the doctor and told her the rash went away after the antihistamine, so I assume it was just hives.

Well Thursday, she seems fine during the day, then suddenly gets whiny. I picked her up and she was hot. We took her home and she had a temp of 101. She was whiny and crying so I gave her generic motrin. The next morning, her fever was gone, but she had hives along the top of her thighs, around her waist, a few on her legs, arms and 3 on her face. I gave her an antihistamine because she said "mommy make the itchys stop". She said it stopped the itching, but the hives were still there. And they were still there today. I gave another dose, still there. She is acting fine, she says they don't itch or hurt, they haven't spread, but they aren't going away either.

I don't think it's Roseola because they aren't small, more blotchy or large bug bite. Not blistery at all. I am just stumped because the antihistamine didn't seem to take them away. She is 3 btw, if that makes a difference.
