I posted about my peaches. I can't seem to find a sufficient net, so I was thinking about putting up a fake owl. Have you found them to work in your experience? Any other ideas?

My dad used one to try to keep the birds away. I don't know if they work for some birds, but my dad had no luck. And, to top it off--a woodpecker perched and pecked the heck out of the wooden owl.

But, maybe they work for other birds. I don't think dad's intended purpose was to get rid of woodpeckers (I think his problem was a different bird--pigeons or something). But, clearly they don't work for woodpeckers.

My neighbor has one in his garden and it looks amazing so I think if he was having issues with birds it has helped. I never see him though if I do I can ask.
