implantation spotting--could it be?!?

Dear MDC-ers,
The Background (long! must vent!): I've been very "spotty" on MDC these last few months, trying to stay away and not stress, not really chart, just poas for LH and PG tests and that's it.
I had a m/c and a chemical (m/c to me!) and have been injecting HCG and taking 300 mg of progesterone post-O for the last five months.
Well, for the last 1 1/2 years, since I started tracking my cycle and gearing up to TTC--including first PG June 2009 and chem in Jan--my cycles have averaged 33 days or so and I have gotten a positive LH surge on CD 20 or 21, assuming ovulation 12-36 hrs after, or thereabouts. I have EWCF, followed by the "dry up!" which helps signal me that ovulation is occuring/hormones shifting.

Sooo...cut to this cycle. I stopped progesterone when I realized I wasn't PG and started CD1 on June 11th.
I don't start w/OPKs until CD 18 or 19 because I've been so regular. I also have a fertility monitor that I haven't bothered w/because of a) regularity and b) all the hormones I'm taking...
Well, it's CD 29.
I NEVER got a positive OPK--not on CD 19 or 20 or 21 or 22...but I had fertile EWCM (not sure of all the days) and then it dried up. Like I said, I'm trying to be mellow for now and make sure we DTD enough and RELAX!
Again, it's CD 29. I was at a concert w/DH tonight (Peter Frampton and Yes) and wiped, and there was a little brown.
Again, in the wee hours as I type this--a little brown.
I NEVER get my period on CD 29 (well, I did when I was many, many lbs lighter, but that's another story).
At this weight, CD 33 or 34 or 35 or, maybe 32...
As I wiped just a bit ago, all of a sudden a little bell went off in my brain...
Though I didn't get a +OPK, I still could've O'd somewhere around my usual time, maybe a little early, and this could be IMPLANTATION BLEEDING!!!!!
CD29.
It fits.
Obviously, time will tell.
I just had to get this off my chest.
I had written off this cycle because of the negative OPK and didn't go on hormones or Lovenox (for Factor V Leiden hetero).
I was planning to call my RE on Monday to discuss the next step, because it's been five months since the last chemical and I'm about to turn 40. We got pregnant the first try twice, but now, nada. Spring was stressful. However, I'm relaxed now and I know I'm in good hands and am ready to take whatever steps are necessary.
But, what if....
What if the spotting is implantation bleeding?
Then I MIGHT just get to be pregnant for my 40th Birthday.
Now THAT would be the ultimate birthday present.
It's #1 on my list, that's for sure!
It has been a roller-coaster ride. My biological clock is more like a biological time bomb! I honestly didn't know until I met the right man and settled down in my late thirties that I wanted BABIES! Lots of them.
I hope I can at least have a couple healthy little ones. I'm ready!

Thoughts, experiences with implantation bleeding?
I know there are already threads on this, but would love your wisdom!
Maeryn and co--chime in!!!

Thanks,

kat

I did have implantation bleeding with my son, which was like you described (small amount when I wiped) but I had no doubts about what it was. (I have a bleeding disorder so a "little blood" was a big deal!)

So no real advice here . . . but I couldn't read this without letting you know I'm sending happy hopeful vibes your way!

It sounds possible to me. Also, especially if you are using the "smiley face" OPK, it's certainly possible to miss your LH surge and then ovulate without having seen the smiley.

Good luck!

Well you can wait and see If the bleeding picks up and continues and becomes like your period then that would be a period. Implantation bleeding won't get heavy and will stop. And usually pink or brown. Good luck on that bfp

songtothemoon ~ Any updates?!??!

I had similar yesterday. I don't remember having implantation bleeding when I got pg in Jan. So I was just looking around trying to find info.
