How many have 5 year olds using pacifier to fall asleep still?

just curious.....mine uses it to fall asleep=I take it out an hour after and I think it stays out most of the night until morning. Are there others out there with 5year olds or almost 5year olds still using pacifiers? I know I sucked my thumb until I was 7!

Does a thumb count? DD is almost 5 and still uses her thumb.

My 5 yo. used until her 6 months, after that no paci, no thumbs..She nursed to sleep until a little after her 3 birthday, though.

dd needed to nurse every night till around 7 1/2. now its about once a month - more or less.

my milk dried up since she was 3 - so i call myself the human pacifier.

My son used a paci to fall asleep until he was 5. A few months before his 5th birthday, we started planning that he would give it up as soon as he turned 5. And that is what he did, with no problems at all.

I also used a paci until I was 5. I can actually remember giving it up. But then I slept with a small blanket until I went to college!

Good luck with your decision.
