what do you think of it? I was thinking of doing some of the lessons for history/geography and science for ds starting this fall. It looks like there are quite a bit of craft ideas too, so really could also be part of art. I feel like i am finding so many good resources that i don't know what to choose from.

I haven't used it, but from what I've read the mom over at It's a A Boy's Life does.

We use it. I really like it. I first tried it because it was free, but it seems to work really well for us as far as science and history goes. Way more intersting and fun than just using a textbook (which is what we had been using before). I also generally like their language arts pathways.

aha, i was trying to remember what site this was. we used it for a little bit for K, but i had to go back to work and forgot about it. now i'm saving it again to use next year when i'll hopefully be staying home. i liked history and science most as well, and language arts was fine- we used our own curriculum for reading and math.

I don't use the full 'curriculum' but I've looked through it and make use of a lot of the stepping stones (or whatever they call them, can't remember now!) when we are studying something that it coincides with. Some of the activities are great

we don't use it, but i do love it. when the website was launched, i joined as a pilot tester. i really liked all of the lessons and & think they're done in a very thorough, fun, and easy to use way. plus, it's free! can't beat that!

Actually, there's no need for a one year free trial...LP is completely free now, but somewhat along the lines of MDC. They're looking for click through revenue, donations, and the like.
