Help me cook for a LARGE group!

Thread Starter
Next week, we are joining DH's family for a reunion. His parents have rented two large vacation homes and everyone has agreed to take a night cooking. We arrive on Monday and don't have our night to cook until Friday. Right now, we're leaning towards Hawaiian Haystacks (because very little of it would need to be refrigerated; I don't normally do entire meals out of cans, but in this case it seems wise).

We will have 13 adults, 6 teens, 11 kids, and 2 babies, one of whom may eat some table food.

Help me figure out how much I need of each of these:
chicken gravy (chicken boullion plus cream of chicken soup plus??)
canned chicken
pineapple
slivered almonds
green onions
roma tomatoes
chow mein noodles
sliced olives

what else do you put on them? It's been so long since I made them, I can't remember.

Suggestions welcome!

I found this recipe. http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/rec...e=30&mid=91383 You can change the # of servings and the site will change the amount of the ingredients.

One tip (I learned the hard way)

When you are cooking pasta, noodles or anything where you add something to boiling water then bring it back to the boil. A big pot will take so much longer to come back to the boil that the food is quite often cooked by then. Check regularly.
